The field of study Energy belongs to the field of science: engineering and technical sciences. Its practical reference in the economy is related to the acquisition, processing, transmission, storage and use of energy, as well as the operation of equipment in which these processes take place. The aim of the studies is to provide general knowledge necessary to practice the profession of an engineer and knowledge in the field of energy that allows for independent solving of problems occurring in the implementation of energy processes and technologies. Graduates can work, among m.in others, as: designers and constructors of energy machines, equipment and installations, supervisory engineers and power engineers, specialists in energy assessment and effective energy management, consultants on energy issues, entrepreneurs in the energy industry. A graduate of first-cycle studies in the field of Energy has developed habits of continuous learning and is prepared to continue education at the level of second-cycle studies.
This Field of Study took #2nd place in its category in the Ranking of Universities Perspektywy 2025 and has Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) accreditation!
