During the third semester, a semester internship at the Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo will be held for AGH UST students. The study program provides for a 4-week diploma practice and focuses on the individualization of the teaching process. Most of the work is carried out on the basis of an individual research plan, often with the support of tutors.
Graduates of Energy and Environmental Engineering can work as specialists in the field of computer methods for modeling processes in the power industry, in the field of fuel cells and hydrogen technologies, in the design, construction and operation of elements of energy infrastructure, including the acquisition, conversion and use of energy. In the field of environmental engineering problems, they can work as:
- designers and constructors of machines, devices and energy installations,
- supervisory engineers and power engineers,
- specialists in energy assessment and effective energy management,
- energy consultants,
- entrepreneurs in the energy industry.
The study program is inspired by the best Polish, Japanese and international study programs, as well as Polish and European Qualification Frameworks. Broad social consultations with top companies from the field of engineering, with academic staff, and with students also have an impact on the program.
In line with global trends, we create new interdisciplinary programme of study, which is indispensable for a proper development of science, technology and economy of our countries.
