The Modern Fuel Technologies course, which is a combination of classic and constantly improved fields of education with an innovative approach to the issues of rational and innovative use of primary energy carriers with a minimum reduction of the negative impact of the fuel and energy industry on the environment, is a response to the expectations of the fuel and energy sector. This sector faces a very difficult challenge of combining efficient energy production with rational minimization of the impact of the technologies used on the environment. Studies in the field of Modern Fuel Technologies ensure the preparation of graduates to conduct research, design, implementation and development of technological processes in industry. The graduate is prepared to solve technological tasks in the chemical industry, commercial power industry, gas industry, fuel sector, institutions related to the broadly understood issues of heat management and environmental protection, to work in research and development centers, technological research institutions, design offices, state administration units and local government bodies dealing with the issues of sustainable development, environmental protection and efficient use of energy. The graduate is also prepared to start and run an independent business.
