The field of study in Renewable Energy and Energy Management belongs to the field of science: engineering and technical sciences. Its practical reference in the economy is related to the acquisition, processing, transmission, storage and use of energy, as well as the operation of equipment in which these processes take place. The aim of the studies is to provide general knowledge necessary to practice the profession of an engineer and knowledge in the field of renewable energy enabling independent solving of problems occurring in the implementation of energy processes and technologies. The graduate has the knowledge to solve problems related to renewable energy, which occur in the scope of responsibility of local government units (commune, county, voivodeship). The graduate is prepared to take up professional work in the field of renewable energy and related sciences also in positions related to the organization and participation in large teams. He/she knows the basics of economics to the extent necessary to run one's own business and understand economic processes in the energy sector.
