Applied Electronics Centre Ltd. in Podłęże

Students from the AGH Faculty of Energy and Fuels, specializing in Energy Systems, Machinery, and Equipment (SMiUE) as well as District Heating, Heating, and Air Conditioning (COiK), participated in a study visit to the headquarters of the Applied Electronics Centre Ltd. (Centrum Elektroniki Stosowanej Sp. z o.o.) in Podłęże.

The primary objective of the visit was to provide participants with practical insights into the operations of modern energy systems and the advanced solutions implemented across the power industry.

During the tour, students had the opportunity to explore the company’s business operations, facility structure, and technical solutions deployed in electricity, heat, and cooling generation systems. Particular attention was dedicated to cogeneration and trigeneration systems, industrial automation, control systems, and solutions designed to enhance energy efficiency in industrial processes.

As part of the itinerary, the participants observed operational technological installations, learned the principles behind the design and operation of energy systems, and examined the practical aspects of deploying modern energy technologies. The meeting also served as an excellent platform for exchanging experiences among students, company employees, and representatives of the academic community.

This study visit is part of an ongoing initiative to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, enabling students to gain invaluable practical knowledge and encounter the real-world challenges shaping the contemporary energy sector.
